Fiesta Paramotor Riser

Dear Pilot

We have developed an optional riser for the Fiesta to be used with a paramotor.
Please read the following carefully, as it will help you to get the most from your wing.

Risers
The paramotor version of the Fiesta riser was adapted specially for use with shoulder mount paramotor systems.
If you fly with a system where the risers attach high (well above waist height, or shoulder height), these risers may be too short for you. The risers give you the option to use trimmers and or speed bar without any compromise on safety. For small trim changes to counter the torque effect or to speed up the glider for a long glide or run, the trimmers give up to half of the max speed. Use the speed bar for short accelerated sprints. It is also safe to use the two combined for maximum speed. This will give the same maximum speed range as on the standard Fiesta riser.

Launch
No-Wind

The glider will launch best in no wind if the pilot releases the trimmers to "half", while using only the central "A" risers for a forward inflation.

Start with the lines almost tight, then slowly but firmly pull against the glider with your body, while holding the "A's" as described above, until the glider is above your head. Do not run and try to jerk the glider into the air. If the glider is not inflating or sticking behind, it may be that you are pulling down too much on the "A's". If you pull the "A"risers too much, the leading edge will collapse and the glider will not inflate properly. It is important to remember that you only want to change the angle of attack by a few degrees. To do that you will only need to pull around 5cm on the "A's" during inflation, anything more will actually slow the launch.

The Fiesta can also be inflated using the central "A"-riser and the "B"-riser together. This helps prevent a leading edge collapse during inflation, due to pulling too much on the "A's".

Reverse Launch

It is best to use the technique that you are most familiar with. Use only the central "A's" for inflation. As above in is important not to pull too much on the "A's".

Safety

We have successfully tested the Fiesta for all the maneuvers with the paramotor riser. The glider will recover as the standard version from all maneuvers without input. When the trimmers are fully extended, it is possible to increase the speed of recovery from collapses with some brake input.

We hope that you are happy with the paramotor risers, and we would appreciate any input from you regarding our products.
