<p>The new HG bridle (to be purchased separately) allows turning any standard Mayday to an HG version without the use of hardware or metal links and is suitable for all reserve parachutes up to 160kg. rating.</p>
<p>The bridle webbing is woven from Dyneema fibers, only 12mm in width and rated to over 1,700 [DaN]. The new bridles are stronger than before, allow for lower weight and packing volume, and due to the material&#8217;s mechanical properties, reduce opening shock by offering higher elasticity.</p>
<div align="center"></div>
<p>The attachment loops incorporate a Teflon cover to reduce the chances of melting the webbing during a shock opening of the reserve &#8211; e.g. if deployed at high velocity.</p>
<p>The new HG bridle offers big savings in weight and volume over previous versions and will improve comfort and safety for any HG pilot!</p>

Start by passing the small loop through the shoulder attachment point.</p>
<p><a class="dt-pswp-item" href="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/opt-0628.jpg" data-dt-img-description="" data-large_image_width="1920" data-large_image_height="1280"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-11535" src="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/opt-0628-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/opt-0628-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/opt-0628-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/opt-0628-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/opt-0628-100x67.jpg 100w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/opt-0628-600x400.jpg 600w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/opt-0628.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a><br />
Then pass the other end of the bridle (large loop), through the small loop of the bridle</p>
<p><a class="dt-pswp-item" href="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0626.jpg" data-dt-img-description="" data-large_image_width="1920" data-large_image_height="1280"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-11536" src="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0626-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0626-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0626-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0626-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0626-100x67.jpg 100w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0626-600x400.jpg 600w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0626.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a><br />
Position the knots so that they will not slide once under load,</p>
<p><a class="dt-pswp-item" href="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0627.jpg" data-dt-img-description="" data-large_image_width="1920" data-large_image_height="1280"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-11537" src="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0627-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0627-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0627-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0627-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0627-100x67.jpg 100w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0627-600x400.jpg 600w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0627.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a><br />
and ensure to pull the knots very tight, so that there will be no sliding / friction as the load is applied.</p>
<p><a class="dt-pswp-item" href="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0632.jpg" data-dt-img-description="" data-large_image_width="1920" data-large_image_height="1280"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-11540" src="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0632-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0632-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0632-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0632-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0632-100x67.jpg 100w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0632-600x400.jpg 600w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0632.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a><br />
Now attach the reserve to the two bridles with another &#8216;Larks Head&#8217; knot.</p>
<p><a class="dt-pswp-item" href="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0634.jpg" data-dt-img-description="" data-large_image_width="1920" data-large_image_height="1280"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-11542" src="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0634-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0634-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0634-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0634-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0634-100x67.jpg 100w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0634-600x400.jpg 600w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0634.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a><br />
Start by ensuring there are no twists in the bridles, then  pass the two large loops through the loop on the reserve bridle end,</p>
<p><a class="dt-pswp-item" href="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0636.jpg" data-dt-img-description="" data-large_image_width="1920" data-large_image_height="1280"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-11544" src="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0636-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0636-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0636-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0636-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0636-100x67.jpg 100w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0636-600x400.jpg 600w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0636.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a><br />
and then pass the reserve itself through the two large loops of the bridles to form the knot.</p>
<p><a class="dt-pswp-item" href="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0638.jpg" data-dt-img-description="" data-large_image_width="1920" data-large_image_height="1280"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-11546" src="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0638-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" srcset="https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0638-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0638-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0638-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0638-100x67.jpg 100w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0638-600x400.jpg 600w, https://www.apcoaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/opt-0638.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a><br />
Make sure the loops are balanced / equalised, with no twists, and make sure to pull the knot down and tight, so that there will not be any sliding or fiction which could cut or melt the bridles during opening.</p>

The bottom part Ballast Bag is designed as a separate compartment to hold APCO&#8217;s 9L Liquipak inner ballast bag. It can be zipped on to the top part or left off, depending on pilot&#8217;s need or preferences. So if flight does not require ballast, it can just be zipped off. Additional storage space (pocket) is built in to the flight deck with zipped front entry.</p>
<p>Of course there is no compromise on quality and materials. Attention to detail is exceptional as always.</p>

<p>Careful design and well thought out details, make the Flight Deck in combination with the bottom part Ballast Bag an exceptionally superior product which will be enjoyed by pilots for a long time.</p>
