The Vista has become a legend in its own time… Now in its 6th generation, it is lighter, cleaner and with all the latest materials & construction technologies incorporated.
The Vista VI is APCO’s middle B, designed for talented beginners or pilots who wish to step up to the B category with a very calm, safe and easy wing to fly.
Vista VI is a very solid canopy which reassures the pilot with its consistency and pitch damping characteristics.
The wing especially excels in strong conditions with its solidity and homogenous feeling. It will reassure the pilot with its safety, build confidence, allowing for continuous improvement in cross country skills.
Vista VI is offered with 2 different types of risers:
C-steering risers – equipped with C-steering system for building piloting skills and active flying on speed bar – recommended for pilots stepping up from an A wing.
Standard 3 line risers – Lightweight (99 Gr) made from 12mm. kevlar polyester webbing with APCO’s proprietary V-links. Simple to understand, clean design, recommended for pilots who do not need C-steering option.
C-Steering Riser
Standard 3-line riser
Please indicate which risers are preferred when ordering – in absence of mentioning wing will be supplied as default with Standard 3-line risers.
Vista was the first true 3 liner EN-B wing (2014) introduced to the market, a groundbreaking wing in its time featuring shark-nose and a true 3 line, 3 riser set up. Vista VI continues the heritage, and has matured into a proven solid, well performing middle B-Class wing.
Additional main features of the Vista VI:
Impressive performance for the category, Designed for performance, and fine tuned for easy flying!
Lightweight, yet durable – Vista VI starts at 4.6 kg. without sacrificing any durability whatsoever!
True 3 liner throughout the span of the glider down to the risers
Optimized line materials – sheathed bottom lines, connected to unsheathed middle and top floor lines for weight saving and aerodynamics.
Mini ribs (MRB) – for laminar trailing edge flow.
3D Cut on both top and bottom surface. For clean, wrinkle-free surfaces.
Brake Tensioners on trailing edge – progressive and responsive brake action.
The Vista VI is also available with motor risers.
The lightweight canopy makes a huge difference for nil wind forward launches. Its pitch stability turns it into a very pleasant paramotor wing as it cuts through the air almost unaffected by small turbulence. Coupled with its performance, it is a highly efficient paramotor wing perfect for electric engines or low power motors.
The paramotor risers are equipped with trimmers. The flight characteristics remains within the certification while the trimmers are in the closed position. The full test procedures have however been completed in house on these risers with the trimmers in the open position. You can order the Trim Risers (Product Code: 78800P) from your dealer.
The Vista VI is available in three striking colours
The Vista VI – Azure #24
The Vista VI – Fire #34
The Vista VI – Ice #20
Colors representing the new spirit of APCO Aviation, both striking and functional as they incorporate the 3D cut, allowing for a balanced combination of different fabrics according to their position on the wing.
WHATS NEW IN THE MATERIALS OF THE VISTA VI?
Without compromising on durability or safety, the Vista VI is made from carefully chosen materials, to reduce weight. The top surface L/E remains the same bombproof APCO cloth, while areas that do not suffer from use / wear and tear, such as the bottom surface, are now much lighter. This translates into better launch, handling and safety characteristics.
Reinforcement “Crown-Stich” stabiliser line attachment points vastly improves strength and durability of Apco Wings.
Updated low drag trailing edge tensioners keep the trailing edge clean, increases lift and turn efficiency while reducing drag
Butt Holes 2 is the second generation of our original Butt Holes – exit points for debris from inside the wing
BT2 is essentially small holes located at strategic points of the trailing edge to allow sand and debris to exit from inside the wing with no pilot action.

The glider is made from tear resistant Ripstop Nylon cloth, which is P.U. coated to zero porosity and then siliconized to give the fabric high resistance to the elements. Different cloth is used for the top, bottom and ribs due to their different functions.
The lines are made of superaramid covered with a polyester sheath for protection against UV, wear and abrasion. The bottom section of the brake lines is made of Polyester because of its better mechanical properties. The Karabiners/rectangular loops that attach the lines to the risers are made of stainless steel.

Vista :: Pilot Revew :: KENNETH BRUNNEMER
I flew my 1st real long cross country on my Vista. I flew a 192 km, I am very pleased and so satisfied with this wing it is so stable in the strongest of thermals It is also very forgiving
Pilot Comment :: Vista V :: Andrew Turner
I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to try the Vista 5 recently, and placed my order when I landed. It was a light thermic day with low expectations from the forecast. I launched first in very light wind, but climbed out immediately to the first developing clouds, it was my first time at cloud base! Just Fantastic!
What's new in the materials of the VISTA VI?
Without compromising on durability or safety, the Vista VI is made from carefully chosen materials, to reduce weight. The top surface L/E remains the same bombproof APCO cloth, while areas that do not suffer from use / wear and tear, such as the bottom surface/low stress bearing internal parts are made from much lighter 27 gr. material. This translates into better launch, handling and safety characteristics.
How does it handle strong turbulent conditions.
The stronger the conditions – The bigger the advantages of the Vista VI. it is a very rigid canopy that inspires confidence..

Characteristics
TAKE OFF
The APP profile (shark nose) profile with lighter materials, helps this wing to have an easy balanced inflation, The wing will rise easily and controllably overhead without a tendency to overshoot or lift the pilot if checked overhead.
LANDING
Simple, predictable approach and flair to a standstill.
THERMALLING
The Vista VI will easily settle in a constant angle of bank turn in a thermal, requiring very little input once centered, resulting in a superior climb rate, which will have you at the top of the gaggle in no time.
PERFORMANCE
Best Glide will be achieved at 1/3 speed bar, and the APP / sharknose profile keeps the wing highly pressurized and collapse resistant throughout the speed range.
PILOT FEEDBACK
Simple to understand is how to summarize the Vista VI. The wing is both reassuring and precise in its pilot feedback. It is a forgiving wing for beginners, and when directed correctly, it will immediately respond without hesitation.
CONSTRUCTION
According to Apco’s legendary tradition for durability – the top surface is APCO’s double siliconised cloth. Bottom surface and internal parts from lightweight materials to save weight without compromising on durability.
Vista VI
Vista VI is fun to fly and will even excite pilots for long cross country flights. Great and secure glider at the same time to enjoy for hours on end
